The Four Seasons- Chapter 13Torrel watched from the safety of the undergrowth as Amber was carried away. He could hear the troupe cheering as their leader carried their prize. Anger filled him as the group disappeared into the trees.  ‘Move over Torrel, I’m in clear view. If one of those bandits spot me they won’t hesitate to kill me.’  Torrel moved slightly. He figured it wouldn’t be that bad if Ramour was killed, but he kept that to himself. Being so close to Ramour annoyed him greatly.  After a few minutes he dared to stand up. The Four Seasons- Chapter 12It took four days to reach the western village. Amber would have died of boredom if she didn’t have Mhera to talk to. Mhera told Amber a lot about herself. She explained that she used to be a middle child. She told Amber that she had an elder brother and used to have a younger sister, who died due to disease.  When they reached the village they heard nothing. The wind howled eerily, sending shivers down Amber’s spine. Then a single voice could be heard. A man was standing on a rooftop. He had broad shoulders and a hoarse voice. The Four Seasons- Chapter 11The procession of carriages was long and slow. Ramour, despite Torrel’s protests, had chosen a long, complicated route which threaded through all the neighbouring villages. People flocked outside their houses to see the carriages rumble past. Guards had to walk along either side of the carriages to make sure none of the villagers tried to do anything threatening.  Amber sat inside the fifth carriage, staring out the small window. She looked at the villagers, standing on either side of the road. The men were sweaty; they must have been working in the fields. Children stared at the procession with wide eyes.
